MSI Bluetooth Missing or Not Connecting: Driver Checklist
Check Bluetooth settings, adapter identity and exact-model driver records when Bluetooth disappears or pairing fails.

Separate a missing icon from a failed connection
Check that Bluetooth is enabled in Windows. If pairing works but the taskbar icon is missing, inspect More Bluetooth settings and the notification-area icon option.
Confirm the actual supplier
Use Device Manager to record the Bluetooth device name and manufacturer. MSI notes that one laptop model can contain different suppliers, so do not assume every device uses Intel.
Select the matching driver
Look up the complete SKU and recorded system, then review its Bluetooth package title. Save the appropriate installer before removing an existing driver. Follow the linked MSI instructions for reinstallation and restart.
Check the connection again
Keep the peripheral nearby and reduce obstructions. If settings and the matching driver do not help, contact MSI. This checklist does not prescribe BIOS flashing or factory recovery.

This independent checklist summarizes selected steps. Consult MSI’s original support article for the full procedure.
